Urgent repair availability
Emergency Water Heater Repair in the DMV
Water heaters are what we do all day. Shut the unit down safely, then call and describe what you see — most calls are diagnosed before the truck arrives. We keep urgent water-heater and plumbing slots open each day. Call and we will tell you the earliest time we can actually be there — no guessed windows.
Availability changes through the day. Calling is the fastest way to get a real time window.
What you're seeing
Match the symptom, then shut it down safely
Water pooling under the tank
If the tank body itself has split, it cannot be repaired. Shut the cold inlet on top of the tank and turn the unit off at the gas valve or breaker, then call.
No hot water at all
Electric units often lose an element or a thermostat. Gas units often lose the pilot, thermocouple or gas valve. Both are frequently repairable.
Relief valve discharging
A T&P valve releasing water means excess pressure or temperature. Turn the unit off and call — this is a safety device doing its job.
Gas smell or scorching
Leave the building and call 911 and your gas utility from outside before calling us. Nothing about a water heater is worth staying inside for.
Repair tonight or replace tomorrow
We will tell you plainly which one your unit needs. If the tank is intact and the failure is a part, repair is usually the cheaper answer. If the tank has corroded through, no repair will hold and you are buying time you will pay for twice.
Urgent water heater questions
No hot water? Call and we'll triage it.
Show us the full heater, the model label and the vent or connections. Our team reviews the job and follows up with clear options.
